Canadian Nurse Rene Caisse, was given the herbal tea recipe by the Shaman of the Ojibway Indian tribe in Canada in 1922.
With the recpe given to her by the local Ojibway indians Rene Caisse, called her tea ESSIAC- her name spelt backwards.

Ojibway Indian herbal tea
When Rene Caisse discovered that one of her patients had recovered from breast cancer some years previously, by taking a herbal tea given to her by the Shaman of the Ojibway indian tribe, she requested a meeting.
The Shaman gave her the recipe, which she thought she would keep until she needed it.
Little did she realise that was going to be sooner than later, when he aunt was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer and was given 6 months to live.
Nurse Caisse made the brew for her.
Her aunt went on to live a further 21 years and ultimately died of a heart problem.
Clinic in Ontario where Nurse Caisse did most of her work
There was a lot of controversy associated with this 'cancer cure'.

Rene Caisse only took on patients who had been given a certificate by their doctor to say
1. they had Cancer and
2. they were Terminal.
Many doctors initially came to view her work with with skepticism , but after only a few days they rapidly changed their minds. One such person was the renown Dr Charles Brusch.. founder of the presitigious Brusch Clinic and personal physician to President JF Kennedy.
So impressed was he with her work that he became her mentor for over 20 years.
Nurse Rene Caisse in latter years
Rene was passionate about her cancer cure...and after an unsuccessful attempt to get it into the Public Domain ,by selling the formula to a company called Resperin for only $2.00 (proving she was not in it for the money at least) Rene rescinded the sale and contract when the company argued with her about the real recipe.
Finally, making any one who worked with her swear on her deathbed never to reveal the secret recipe after her death.
She died at the age of 90, and many of her former patients came to her funeral.
Rene also wrote the popular book "I was Canada's Cancer Nurse" which was very popular for many years.
One of Renes helpers (who made the tea daily under strict supervision of Rene Caisse herself, swore an oath in the local courts ten years after Rene's death and declared the recipe in her own handwriting.

Serendipity has obtained the EXACT formula Rene Caisse used for over 50 years.
As well as an Affidavit by her life long helper of 43 years- Mary Mcpherson.
Mary made the herbal tea every day under supervision from Nurse Caisse

This Affidavit is certified and carries the Corporate Seal of the Local Court of Canada - proving it's authenticity.
